Chanel Baume Essentiel in Transparent

If you are looking for a clean and dewy glow, this is the highlighter for you. Chanel Baume Essentiel in the shade Transparent is a gorgeous highlighter that smooths your skin and catches the light beautifully. It is a smooth balm texture which melts right into the skin leaving it with a natural glow. The texture is smooth and has a lovely consistency which makes you want to rub it all over your cheekbones.

This highlighter comes in two colors transparent and sculpting. Transparent is what the name suggests: a clean glow, while sculpting provides more of a pearlescent shine. I decided to go with transparent because I believe it is more of a unique highlighter since sculpting is a similar shade to a lot of beautiful highlighters out there.

I have been applying this highlighter on my cheekbones, inner corner of my eyes, my cupid bows, and a little below my eyebrow. It is such an easy product to use because it can be swept on the face directly from the tube or applied with fingers. I think using your fingers allow for more control but it is still fun to use the tube. I am really happy I gave into this highlighter because it seems different to the others I own.  I love that it is also a multi-usage product! I think it would also be beautiful applied on top of a lipstick to make it more shiny. This highlighter is in no way drying and really leaves my skin looking supple and hydrated. It also does sit on the face nicely throughout the day and does not feel uncomfortable or sticky.

Chanel did not fail to disappoint with this beauty and I will probably eventually give in and purchase the other shade!

Ere Perez Chamomile Eye Palette in Gorgeous

One of the newest addition to my makeup collection is this Ere Perez Chamomile Eye Palette in the shade Gorgeous. I have been eyeing this palette on Follain forever and finally purchased it in store. I have not been wearing eyeshadow that much recently, but this palette has made me want to start again. It is an earth tone palette that has has been great for everyday use since the colors are toned down and warm.

Ere Perez has four of these natural eyeshadow palettes. Each palette has 6 shades which include both mattes and shimmers. One thing I really like about these palettes are that they are eco friendly. Ere Perez carries single eyeshadow refills that can be put in once a shade is done. I think this is a great idea because it will allow me to switch up the colors in the palette and not have to replace the entire packaging!

These eyeshadows are easy to blend on the eyelid and they are not super intense. I apply the eyeshadow on top of a powdered eyelid and they have been staying on all day. I use these eyeshadows with a brush if I am planning on applying more than one color, however stick to just my finger for just one shade.

This palette is great if you are looking for an easy wash of color on your eyes to make your makeup stand out more! I am glad that I finally purchased this palette because it is perfect for a natural everyday look and for the minimal makeup lovers.

Glossier's Milky Oil

When I saw that Glossier launched a micellar water/oil makeup remover I knew I had to try it.  Their Milky Oil is a waterproof makeup remover with a light formula which promises to remove makeup easily without a lot of tugging and fuss. It is hypoallergenic, safe for sensitive eyes, safe for lips, vegan, cruelty and gluten free. Also of course Glossier did not fail to deliver the cutest bottle ever for makeup removal!

I have been using this makeup remover for about 2 weeks now and have been enjoying it for double cleansing. I have tried using it with cotton pads, but definitely prefer pouring the product directly into hands and rubbing my face clean. I think it does do its job of removing makeup while still being gentle and non irritating.

Similar to Bioderma's micellar water, I do follow up with a second cleanser (like milky jelly) for a proper skin cleanse since it does leave my skin feeling a little residue-y.

Overall, I am so far happy with Milky Oil since it does preform well. I will definitely continue using it for removing my makeup since it is easy to use and requires little effort on my part!

Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation

I have recently been more conscious on what I have been putting on my face and Ere Perez Cosmetics is a natural makeup company which is free from a lot of harmful ingredients found in makeup. It is an Australian brand founded by Ere Perez and their products are all natural and range from makeup, skincare, nail polish, and even tools!

Their Oat Milk Foundation comes in 6 shades (I have the shade latte) and contains different ingredients like oat milk, peach and vitamin e oil which are all beneficial to the skin. This foundation is targeted to all skin types including sensitive skin which my sensitive cheeks are thankful for! I am really enjoying the finish of this foundation because it is not sticky but does not leave the skin dry. It does really illuminate my skin and makes it appear glowy and healthy. The foundation does not feel heavy and I have been blending it just using my fingers. Even though it is not heavy it covers up my redness and small blemishes.

Overall I have found this foundation to last throughout the day due to its natural and non sticky finish. It has played nicely with my skin and makeup and has not broken me out. This will now be my go to foundation whenever I want a little more extra coverage. I am happy to have discovered Ere Perez Cosmetics and their beautiful natural makeup and chic packaging!

RMS Lip2Cheek

RMS Beauty has been talked about a lot on my blog since it is one of my favorite makeup brands. It is a brand that combines both high quality makeup along with clean beauty. Their lip2cheek is a cream product which is both a blush and a lipstick in one cute pot.  This product comes in a variety of colors and is certified organic. Their lip2cheek is one of my favorite makeup products since it easy to apply and has a long staying time.

I purchased the shades "diabolique" and "modest." Diabolique is a deep berry shade which can be applied sheer and can be built up. I adore this color because it gives my lips a bitten and stained look which makes my makeup look more lived in. I think this color is beautiful on the lips and on the cheeks as well. This color works for a lot of makeup looks and it is really versatile.

The other shade I purchased is modest. Modest is a pretty pink with brown color and can be used for a more natural look. I really love putting this color on my cheeks because it really gives them a pretty perky look.

RMS's products are not cheap, but I think they are definitely worth the money because you do receive a lot of product and the quality is amazing. I find this product really convenient to use since you do not need any brushes or tools and can use just your fingers. This is the perfect blush/lipstick in one product and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick lipstick and blush application!

Rouje Beauty Lip Palette Les 4 Rouje

When I heard the news that Jeanne Damas was launching a beauty line for Rouje I could not be more excited. I adore Jeanne Damas' makeup looks and her signature lip colors ranging from bright reds to dark plums. I was so excited to finally get my hands on the lipsticks that Jeanne wears and incorporate them into my everyday beauty routine.

Rouje launched Les 4 Rouje, as well as four other single lipsticks. The lipsticks range from reds, a pinky nude, a dark red and a plum color. The palette contains the same four shades of the lipsticks which I really enjoy because you get to try all of them.

I am really adoring the palette so far. The shades are pigmented and can be built up for beautiful bold lips, but they can also be blended in to make your lips seem more lived in and natural looking. I love the idea of this palette because it can be used on the lips, cheeks, and even eyelids. I have been tapping my fingers into the palette and blotting the color into my lips to give that bitten look. With the  left over color, I blend into my cheeks and eyelids like Jeanne Damas did in her Vogue Beauty Secrets video. The color stays on for a long time since I really blend it into my lips.

I believe these shades give the lips a nice tinted look which does not require a lot of touchups!

Overall, this is a lovely palette if you want to have that beautiful lived in lip look that Jeanne Damas does so well. I am looking forward to see if Rouje will add anything else to their beauty collection down the line.

 Thank you! Merci! ♡

RMS Beauty Shimmer + Twilight Palette

I am a big fan of RMS Beauty and recently purchased this palette at Anthropologie. RMS Beauty's Shimmer + Twilight Palette includes their magic luminizer, their eye polish in Myth and finally their lip2cheek in Demure. This palette is small and ideal to use for everyday. I really love their magic luminizer because it is incredibly dewy and makes the skin come alive. The eye polish is really easy to apply and gives the eyelid a well lived look and keeps it glowy. Finally, their lip2cheek is a beautiful pale pink that looks lovely on the apples of the cheeks as well as the bridge of the nose. I really love this cute small palette and will be using it for everyday makeup!

Dior & Chanel Haul

In the past month I bought a few makeup products from Chanel and Dior. I am happy to share about them since I have loved them all so far.

I purchased two eyeshadows. The first one is Chanel's Premiere Ombre Eyeshadow in the shade Memory. I have heard a lot about this shade on Youtube and I absolutely love it. It is really pigmented and looks beautiful on the eyes. It also does not budge or crease which is bonus for my hooded eyes! I also purchased Dior's Mono Eyeshadow in the shade Backstage. This shade is a sparkly baby pink which looks really nice on my fair skin.

The last things I got my hands on were two Dior lipsticks. The first lipstick I bought is the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in the shade Beige Sunrise. I purchased this because really wanted to try this iconic Dior product and I also wanted an everyday lipgloss. It makes my lips look super plumped and smooth. I also enjoy the minty tingly feeling it gives to my lips.

The last product I bought is Dior's Lip Scrub. This is probably my favorite product out of this entire haul because it both exfoliates my lips and leaves them with a really pretty pink tint. I have been wearing this whenever I do makeup because it feels like nothing on my lips

I hope you enjoyed my short haul and enjoyed looking at these amazing products! Thank you
