Lorac Mod Goddess Lipglosses

Merry Christmas everyone! I wanted to show you one of the gifts I received this year which was the Lorac Mod Alter Ego Lip Gloss Set Vol II . This set comes with 6 vibrant colors which range from nudes to pinks. The colors are really pretty and I am really excited to use them all for my everyday looks. The set is $26, however, online it is on sale for only $18 ($102 value)! If you are thinking about getting this, I would definitely buy it now since the price is very low.

The glosses are pigmented and not sheer which makes them gorgeous. They look like they can be layered on top of a tint or a dull lipstick. Some of them have a bit of glitter in them as well.

Here are some swatches of these glosses.

I cannot get over how cute these glosses are, especially that pink packaging. I hope you enjoyed looking over these babies and will continue to enjoy your day! Thank you.

CLÄ’ Cosmetics

Cle Cosmtics is a beauty company which incorporates Korean Technologies in their products as well as minimal designs. This company reflects the beauty of simplicity and I absolutely fell in love with their packaging as well as the two products I have tried from them. I believe their makeup and skincare really do depict the effortless and natural side of beauty.

The first product I tried from them is their Essence Moonlighter Cushion. The shade I got it in is "Glinting Bluff," and I really do adore this highlighter. I won it in one of their Instagram giveaways and I was so happy to see that I would be receiving this gem. This highlighter is stunning. It really does have that "wet" look that a lot of people enjoy about a highlighter. I believe it really does highlight the face in a beautiful way and brings a lot of attention to these points. This is the first cushion highlighter I have ever seen and tried and it does remind me on a liquid highlighter, but only more natural and believable.

The last product I tried from this company are their Melting Lip Powder. The name threw me off at first because I have never heard of a lip powder. However, I was impressed to see how easily it blended when placed upon my lips. Yes, it is an actual powder in a jar but it somehow becomes a matte lipstick with blending. This product can also be used on the cheeks as well as an eyeshadow which I find really fun. They currently have eight beautiful shades in this lip powder and I got my hands on two. I do recommend this lip powder for those interested in trying a new form of lipstick and those who want to have a natural looking color to their lips which can be built up if wanted.

Overall, I think Cle Cosmetics really does target the effortless side of beauty. The company has quality products and minimal designs which I love. I look forward to trying more of their products and the next item on my wishlist would include their CCC Cream because it does look very unique.

Thank you for reading and until next time!

RMS Luminizer x Quad

 RMS Luminizer x Quad
I finally got my hands on this lovely little palette. This is the beautiful RMS's Luminzer x Quad palette. This includes four luminizers: Luminizer X, Luziminer Nude, Champagne Rose, and Champagne Fizz. Each sparkle in their own different way, but all have the similar and smooth texture of RMS's products.

I really love these highlighters because of how versatile they can be. These can be highlighters used on the cheekbones, cupid's bow, eyebrow bone, and even the eyelids. They can be used with other products to create beautiful fresh looks.

These highlighters are very natural looking. They can go on sheer at first, however it is very easy to build them up. These aren't highlighters that have those glittery textures in them. The texture instead is more smooth and pearlescent (as seen in the swatches below). I suggest using your fingers since it really warms up the product for a perfect application. If you love natural looking highlighters, are a die hard fan for the "dewy look," and have never tried one of RMS's luminizers, I really recommend purchasing this gorgeous palette. You will have all these wonderful highlights in one small case to fit all your moods everyday.

Updates & Beach Day

I have been really busy this past week but I got to unwind today at the beach. It was such a lovely day to spend offline and with my loved ones. I had lots of fun, but my face got super burned so make sure to re-apply sunscreen guys! I also start university next week and hopefully will be reviewing new makeup soon, and taking pictures of different looks. Here are some pictures of today.  ☼

My Favorite Glossier Products

I am a Glossier addict.

Glossier is my top favorite beauty brand because of its easy to use products, their amazing quality, it's impact on the beauty movement and of course their gorgeous packaging. Glossier encourages us to express ourselves as "real life girls" and I am all for it. I love everything about their views on makeup, especially how they claim "makeup is a choice." Glossier brings a refreshing look onto today's makeup trends and their products and community have inspired me to try a variety of different looks and styles. On this post, I will be talking about my top favorite products. I adore every one of them, but these are the ones that I can't go a day without.

GLOSSIER SKIN TINT & STRETCH CONCEALER
These two products are amazing. I think they create the perfect base for any fresh makeup look and I especially love using both when it comes to doing my makeup. For the skin tint, I usually use between 5-8 drops and use my fingers to blend. It blends easily and it leaves my skin with a nice "real" texture and it does not look like I am wearing anything. For the concealer, I use this to cover some redness in my cheeks and around my nose. The concealer blends like a dream and no tools are required! I think this works best with normal to dry skin types since the concealer is very dewy. I also want to buy a darker shade of stretch concealer to trying using it as a bronzer.

PRIMING MOISTURIZER, INVISIBLE SHIELD,  BALM DOTCOMS
Glossier's Priming Moisturizer is my favorite. This moisturizer is very light and keeps my skin feeling nice and plump. I use it before applying my makeup because it leaves my skin all even and makes makeup easier to apply.

The invisible shield is one of Glossier's newest additions to their skincare line. This sunscreen is invisible, meaning it is clear and there is no white cast. Use this before applying your moisturizer, and it will leave your skin feeling fresh and protected.

Glossier's balm dotcoms are all lovely. My three favorites are: Cherry, the original, and Coconut. The cherry one leaves your lips with a nice cherry tint which I adore. I use the coconut one when I do not want a tint, and I use the original balm dotcom on my cuticles to keep them moisturized.

HALOSCOPE, BOY BROW, CLOUD PAINTS, & GENERATION G

Glossier's Haloscopes in Quartz and Topaz are my absolute favorite highlighters. These highlighters are made of crystal extracts which are supposed to keep your skin dewy and hydrated and I can say they do that just fine. They have a lovely smooth texture and are easy to blend. They also last all day on your face and make your skin look gorgeous and healthy! If you are pale like me, you can use Topaz as a bronzer or even an eyeshadow.

I love Boy Brow. This eyebrow gel keeps your eyebrows in place throughout the whole day without any fuss. You do not need to reapply or worry about your eyebrows moving around. If you do have sparse eyebrows, this gel does the job by filling them in without making  your eyebrows seem unnatural. If you do not know which Glossier item to get first, I say go with boy brow.

I am a sucker for blush. I believe blush has the power to pull a whole look together. Glossier's Cloud Paints, come in four universal shades. These shades are all lovely and if you are feeling a little creative you can blend two shades together to create another blush color. The packaging is also very unique and cute and these blushes are a joy. I can't choose my favorite shade because they are all so cute but different in their own way.

Cloud Paints (Top to bottom): Haze, Puff, Beam, Dusk

Glossier's Generation G's are the perfect no fuss lipsticks. Their shades range from poppy reds to dark purples. My personal favorites are Cake, and Like. These two shades are perfect if you want a neutral lip with a shade of pink. They go on sheer at first, but are incredibly easy to build up. I love them because you can apply them without using a mirror and you do not have to worry about them looking perfect. I also like to blend both shades to create a perfect pinkish nude color.

I love all of Glossier's products but these are my top ones. If you still do not own any Glossier product I really recommend looking into one of these gems.

Until next time!

My Skincare Routine

Skincare is something I have been trying to give my attention to as of lately because my skin has not been in its best condition. I am currently trying to figure out a new routine, but as of now this is what I have. It is pretty simple, but I am trying to expand because I want to try out variety of products! I definitely want to try the 10-Step Korean Skin Care especially because of the serums and essences, and hopefully I will be giving it a try pretty soon. But, as of now, these are the products I use for my skin. My skin is pretty normal. I usually do not break out and if I do it is usually around my nose. About recently, I've been noticing uneven skin texture around my cheeks and I am trying to improve my skin and it seems that these products are helping.

CLEANSER
If I am wearing makeup this day, the first thing I reach for is my Glossier's Milky Jelly Cleanser. I absolutely adore the formula of this cleanser because it is so soft and gentle on the skin. You do not need a lot of product to remove all your makeup and it does so in a easy way. This cleanser is one of my favorites and I will continue to use it to remove my makeup.

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

IF...  I'm not wearing any makeup this day, I jump directly to my Mario Badescu's Enzyme Cleansing Gel. This cleanser is very soft and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and completely clean.

TONER
The toner I have been using is Mario Badescu's Special Cleansing Lotion C. I bought this toner originally for my boyfriend who was experiencing breakouts. I was really impressed on how his skin cleared out pretty quickly. Since my skin hasn't been in its best condition, I have been using this. When using this toner, my skin feels brand new. It is supposed to deep cleanse and disinfect any acne and I can assure you it does just that.

SUNSCREEN
I've only recently begun using sunscreen and I think it is an important part of any skincare regimen. I only use sunscreen in the morning, not at night. The sunscreen I use is Glossier's Invisible Shield. This baby has a citrusy smell and it is very lightweight. I really enjoy it because it leaves my skin feeling dewy and protected.

MOISTURIZER
I switch between two moisturizer's depending on my mood. These moisturizers are Glossier's Priming Moisturizer Rich or Etude House's Moistfull Collagen Cream. These two creams are extremely hydrating but in different ways. I adore both, but if my skin is not feeling too dry, I use the Etude House one because it has a lightweight consistency. It is a very simple but replenishing cream and it smells amazing. If my skin is feeling a little bit more on the drier side, I will reach for the Glossier moisturizer. It's name suits it well because it is very rich in consistency and it does its job well with keeping my skin feeling soft and moisturized.

EYECARE
My dark circles are unfortunately genetic. My eyes have always had a hint of darkness ever since I was a baby. Since I adore doing my eye makeup, I try my best to take care of the fragile skin underneath my eyes. The product I use for an eye treatment is The Ordinary's Caffeine Solution 5% EGCG. This is an inexpensive product and I think it does the job of keeping my under eyes moisturized. I have only been using it for about a month but I do see a little difference. My circles are not too severe and this keeps them at bay. This consistency is pretty thick, but it is very easy to rub into your eyes without all the blending and pulling.

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% EGCG

LIPS
I love applying lip balms because they all smell so lovely and keep my lips feeling plump. I always use lip balms/salves at the end of the night especially. Of course my favorites are Glossier's Balm Dotcoms. These babies are universal, the packaging is cute, and they all smell amazing. I also adore Smith's Rosebud Lip Salve, and their Minted Rosebud one. All these lip balms are adorable and extremely useful to have them in your makeup bag, your night counter, and anywhere else!

I love using all these products and like stated before, hopefully my skincare will continue to grow and I will be using new products eventually!

RMS Beauty Pop Collection

From top left to right: Buriti Bronzer, Magic Luminizer, Demure, Beloved, Vanilla Lip & Skin balm

I picked up this baby as one of my birthday gifts. This is RMS Beauty's Pop Collection. This palette includes RMS's loved Buriti Bronzer, the dewy Magic Luminizer, two lip2cheek colors in the shade Demure and Beloved, and finally their simply vanilla lip & skin balm. This palette is extremely lovely and is heaven for all us dewy makeup lovers. This was the very first RMS product I have ever used and I can say that I am very impressed with this product's texture and consistency. Each individual color blends effortlessly and looks natural yet very striking.

These colors go on sheer at first, however, they are extremely easy to build up. I believe this palette is the perfect palette to go to when trying to achieve a glowy look. It is also small enough to use for traveling and to have on the go.  My personal favorites in this collection include the Magic Luminizer and the Beloved shade. The luminizer is so beautiful! It is the definition of dewy makeup and a must. If I were to compare this product to another highlighter it would be Glossier's
haloscope in Quartz. Both highlighters and lovely and worth investing in.

If you do not want to spend money on just one single RMS product, I definitely suggest this beautiful palette for achieving a lovely and soft makeup look. I will be reviewing RMS's Luminzer X Quad soon, and hopefully their Mod collection as well. Until next time!

Birthday Trip to Glossier

On my way to the Glossier Showroom
I visited NYC on my birthday which was on July 15. I was turning eighteen and my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to the city. I had the opportunity to visit the Glossier Showroom which I was super excited about! We arrived and we waited on line for a bit, but then we entered the room. It was so beautiful and I will hopefully be back soon because I feel that I didn't take everything in. I bought 3 more balm dotcom's (rose, the original, and mint) and my boyfriend bought me the color "Like" in the G Generation collection. I should have gotten the new balm dotcom since it is birthday inspired! This day was very memorable since Glossier is my favorite makeup brand and I could actually see the products in person.
